Harmony Day is a day to celebrate cultural diversity.

Every year on March 21, Australians come together to celebrate Harmony Day. Harmony Day honours Australia's cultural diversity and is in conjunction with the United Nations' International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Harmony Day's message is social cohesion and racial harmony, expressed through community participation, inclusiveness, diversity celebration, respect, and belonging.

Wear something orange. The colour orange has been chosen to represent Harmony Week. Orange has traditionally been associated with social communication and meaningful conversations. It also pertains to the freedom of ideas and the promotion of mutual respect.

Women's Day, an international day for disabled people, is also celebrated on the same day as Harmony Day. While Harmony Day is observed to recognise cultural diversity and advocate against racial discrimination, Women's Day promotes gender equality and diversity, and Disability Day fosters an understanding of disability issues and supports the dignity, rights, and well-being of people with disabilities.
